Anina Schulte-Trux

(b. Düsseldorf, 1977)

She is a graduate of the University of Coburg, in Germany, where she studied Interior Architecture. She gained her first professional experience and undertook her first projects at well-known firms—both in Germany and Mexico—and in additional to working at Gutiérrez Cortina Arquitectos from 1999 to 2000, she also participated in an academic exchange program with La Salle University. Notably, a formal collaboration accord between Coburg and La Salle was initiated as a result of her exchange. Ultimately, the time at La Salle convinced Schulte-Trux to return to Mexico.

After graduating—in 2002—she began working with José de Yturbe Arquitectos. In 2004 she began her professional partnership with Fernando Weber, whom she married two years later. In addition to participating in a wide array of contests and projects at the firm, she focuses on interior architecture, furniture/fixture design and lighting design. She is also responsible for firm public relations and corporate image. She is a frequent guest speaker on architecture, is a painter, and speaks several languages.

In 2012, Schulte-Trux obtained her Diploma in Organizational Leadership at Iberoamericana University.
